At the Los Angeles premiere for a new film he’s producing titledHonk for Jesus: Save Your Soul, Kaluuya gushed when asked if he had seen the trailer. “Of course, I’ve seen it!” Kaluuya said before he went on to say that he thinks the trailer was amazing and he’s very excited to watch the final cut of the film, which is set to hit theaters in November. As he continued his conversation with Variety, he was asked about the possibility of him having a future with Marvel Studios, to which he remained very tight-lipped. “You know I can’t tell you!” he said as laughed.

As Kaluuya jokes about his future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there is a chance that he could return to reprise his role in the future if Marvel Studio makes anotherBlack Pantherfilm. He could even return in the rumoredOkoye series for Disney Plus, considering Kaluuya’s character was Okoye’s love interest in the first film. There is even a chance he could appear in the upcomingAvengersfilms, which will most likely feature the Wakanda warriors in the fight against Kang.

AlthoughKaluuya won’t appear inBlack Panther: Wakanda Foreverwhen it hits theaters in the coming months, he is ecstatic to see the future of the franchise live on without him. The film is also set to continue the story of Wakanda without actor Chadwick Boseman, who lost his private battle with colon cancer back in the summer of 2020. Boseman starred in the first film as T’Challa and the Black Panther hero as well.

Although Boseman will be missing from the film, the directors and the cast have promised that the film will pay tribute to the late hero, and that’s definitelyreflected in theBlack Panther: Wakanda Forevertrailer, which depicts a mural of Boseman. As the franchise continues without two very strong and talented actors, fans will get to see the beloved kingdom of Wakanda live on in all its glory and power despite what’s been lost.

Black Panther: Wakanda Foreveris scheduled to be released in theaters on August 02, 2025.
