As the game was delayed, it is possible that the 6.2GB size won’t be entirely accurate, with additional work and changes to come by the developers. However, it is a good idea of what the size will be. This information only relates directly to the Nintendo Switch version, however. The PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game may be a bit beefier in size.

For example, the entireWitcher 3experience comes packed into a small 32 GB download on the Switch, while the Xbox One version of all the same content takes around 80 GB. To account for the optimizing that needs to be done for the Switch, it’s possible that the Switch download size forCrysis Remasteredis smaller than others.

As soon as theXbox One version ofCrysis Remasteredwas listed in the store, fans were excited to see screenshots, a trailer, and new information. However, it has since been taken off the site.

It seems as if the leak on the Xbox One site, and a little bit of negative feedback from fans, has directed the Crytek team to take some additional time to develop the game. While agameplay reveal ofCrysis Remasteredwas on the way, the leak took a bit of wind out of the sails for the title and even that official reveal has been postponed.

Some fans weren’t overly impressed with the visuals and details that came forth in the leakedCrysis Remasteredinformation. Fans have eagerly anticipated aCrysis remakeor the followup toCrysis 3, and the series has always been known for top-notch graphics with amazing performance and power, so anything that looks less than the absolute best is a bit disappointing. The next few weeks, as the game continues to be worked on by Crytek, could help touch up that title and give it the attention that it deserves.

Crysis Remasteredreleases on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch soon.
