An eerie bug inGhost of Tsushimahas been causing one player’s horse to come when called, even after the animal’s death. In this case, however, a player’s horse seems to have somehow managed to die through unnatural means, outside the bounds of scripted events. Reddit user NimbleAxolotl has shared a gameplay video that shows Jin attempting to summon his horse, and while the noble steed does in fact show up behind him when called, it’s flopped over on its side and not moving, leading the player to conclude that it must have broken the game’s rules and died somehow. While Jin’s liberation of villages fromGhost of Tsushima’s Mongol hordesearn him the nickname The Ghost, several people in the comment section are now considering the horse to be the real Ghost of Tsushima.

There Have Been More Supernatural Glitches in Ghost of Tsushima

The dead horse bug doesn’t seem to be particularly common, as none of the responses have indicated anyone seeing a dead horse companion show up before. That said, there have been somehilarious glitches inGhost of Tsushima, and some involve accidental undead action. There have been sightings of late-game Mongol leader enemies who have already been decapitated flailing about on the battlefield, resulting in them crawling around the without their heads like zombies. Also, while not necessarily being a supernatural occurrence, horses have been known to phase directly through objects such as walls when summoned, which is a trait they share in common with ghosts.

Even with occassional glitches,Ghost of Tsushimahas been a well-received action-adventure game, and its competent handling of an open-world feudal Japan has drawncomparisons to games likeAssassin’s Creed Shadows, which is set for release on November 15 and has a high standard of quality to live up to. While there hasn’t been any official confirmation that Sucker Punch Productions is working on a sequel, there are rumors that such a game is in the works, and fans have been eager for aGhost of Tsushima 2announcement for months.
