The shift also suggestsToys for Bob is pleased withCrash 4’s performance, labeling it as a “well-received sequel.“Crash Bandicoot 4previously received a nomination for “Best Family Game” at the 2020 Game Awards.

Crash Bandicoot 4’s stellar sales milestone comes as the revival’s developer recently confirmed a major change for its future. Earlier this year,Toys for Bob announced it would be leaving Activisionat the end of February, shifting into a position as an independent developer and partnering with Microsoft for a new project.
