Call of Duty: Modern Warfareis moving towards its sixth season with a fresh battle pass and tons of new content. Alongside a brand new trailer comes a complete roadmap of upcoming content, which is expected to make a big splash in bothModern WarfareandWarzonethanks to some surprising changes on the horizon.

As with every season prior,Season 6 is loaded with new content, maps, and events starting tonight at 11:00 p.m. PT. The developers will be adding in options for theWarzoneandModern Warfareaudiences, along with two familiar playable operators that many fans have been asking for.

Similar to Season 5, Verdansk is undergoing a massive change in Season 6 as the Subway System officially gets added. The Launch Week features a limited-timeWarzoneMode called Armored Royale, which based on its icon used in the roadmap will include thearmored trucks introduced in the season’s trailer. Both Farah and Nikolai are being added as operators alongside the AS VAL assault rifle and the SP-R 208 Sniper.

Multiplayer fans will gain access to Killstreak Confirmed, a new mode that will combine the mechanics of Kill Confirmed with Killstreaks. Ascattering of new mapswill also be made available right out the gate, letting players fight in Mialstor Tank Factory, Broadcast, Station, and Verdansk Riverside across different game modes.

More content will also unlockthrough Season 6’s duration. After the first week, players will gain access to the Hard Point Hills & Kills game mode, with a Gun Game TDM and HQ Firefight opening up the week after. For the fourth week, fans can get involved in Gunfight Tournaments and TDM Snipers Only, which will continue thereafter.

There will be new content in theSeason 6 Battle Pass, alongside a Melee Weapon and Finishing Move being added to the game. The Finishing Move is simply titled “Vampire Bat,” and is expected to be a Halloween-themed kill. As for the weapon, some fans may be happy to see the familiar flipping action of the Butterfly Knife return to add a quick, stabbing alternative to any player’s loadout.

There is sure to be more content seen throughout the season, but one event that has caught players' eyes is the “Haunting of Verdansk.” This Halloween-themed encounter will bring with it new Limited Time game modes, rewards, and cosmetics to fans starting on October 20.
