Call of Duty: Modern Warfarereceived a sizable update on February 25 that added the new Gunfight map Bazaar, new playlists, and more. And now Infinity Ward has released yet another update for the game on February 26, which includes a fix for theQuick Fix perk bug.
It was reported last week that someCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers were experiencing an issue with the Quick Fix perk simply not activating. TheModern WarfareFebruary 26 update addresses this problem, as well as removes the rank reset screen that was appearing, fixes the Regiment invites issues, and fixes killstreaks that were still functioning in CDL playlists.

WhileCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers may be more interested in updates that add new content, patches like this are important as well. A live service game likeCall of Duty: Modern Warfarewill almost always have technical issues and things to sort out, and it’s good thatInfinity Wardmakes an effort to stay on top of issues as they’re reported by the community.
Plus, it’s not like there’s a shortage of new content coming toCall of Duty: Modern Warfare. TheCall of Duty: Modern WarfareSeason 2 road mappromises plenty of new content that’s on the way for the game, including new maps, modes, weapons, and more. And it’s highly likely that there will be even more added toCall of Duty: Modern Warfarebeyond what’s promised in the road map, if recent leaks are any indication.
Leaks point toCall of Duty: Modern Warfareadding a battle royale mode soon. Entitled Warzone, theModern Warfarebattle royale modewill reportedly feature a massive 200 player count and a map that’s much larger than the one inBlack Ops 4’s Blackout mode. Infinity Ward has yet to officially announce Warzone, but the evidence continues to mount that its release could be as early as next month.
Fans can expect Infinity Ward to supportCall of Duty: Modern Warfarefor the long term.Modern Warfareis making significant money from itsBattle Passand microtransactions, and it’s likely that it will continue to receive new content and updates throughout 2020 and beyond.
