This mod allows players to ride Torrent and explore the world together. It also comes with some neat features, such as voting for the next fast-travel destination and the option for one player to spectate the other after dying to a boss. OneElden Ringmod aims to do the unthinkable, though, as it lets users play the game in VR.

The modder, named LukeRoss, released a new video that shows theElden RingVR mod in action. The footage starts at the very beginning of the game, as the player picks up the Tarnished’s Wizened Finger and opens the first gate to the Chapel of Anticipation. The view looks even more gorgeous in VR. The player walks around the area, smashing some barrels and boxes before crossing the bridge to reach thefirst boss ofElden Ring. The video features a small glimpse of the combat and ends after the player dies to the Grafted Scion.

TheElden RingVR mod looks incredibly well-made, and the game’s striking art design looks more beautiful in this mode. The UI looks clean, although the combat showed instances of some elements going off-screen. It’ll be interesting to see how the other gameplay mechanics transfer over and whether it’s even possible to play asignificant portion ofElden Ringthis way. However, the mod pulls off an awe-inspiring first look atElden RingVR. Players can find videos ofCyberpunk 2077in VR on LukeRoss’ YouTube channel, and their Patreon page mentions a VR mod forRed Dead Redemption 2as well.

While combat may not be practical, one user wantsElden Ringmod that lets players explore its beautiful locations in VR without worrying about the gameplay. One player wonders how someElden Ringenemies will look in this mode, while another wants to gethugged by the NPC Fiain VR. Clearly, many gamers are excited about the possibility of playingElden Ringin VR, even if specific actions, such as rolling, will be tricky to implement.
