Boruto’sprevious chapter saw the story slow down slightly after all the events of the Code arc unraveled at a blistering pace. After having returned to his hideout, Code planned to pick the right place and time to strike and get Amado to take his limiters off once and for all. At the same time,Boruto Uzumaki finally got to know moreabout his capabilities as he talked about the recent events with his friends.
More importantly, Konoha was seen discussing how to deal with Kawaki and according to Naruto, a long talk with him is imminent as soon as he wakes up. The biggest part of the chapter was Code’s attack on Shikamaru and Amado when the two were alone and even though he was cleverly countered by Bronco, Konoha’s very own Delta, Ada’s appearance shifted the tides back in Code’s favor shortly after as things start getting more interesting.BorutoChapter 69 will focus on that and much more as we head closer to its release.

Boruto Chapter 69: What To Expect?
Fans can expectBorutoChapter 69 to pick up immediately from where the last chapter left off. Neither Ikemoto nor Kishimoto are big fans of switching scenes when something major is set up and this appears to be one such moment. The next chapter will most certainly continue the ongoingfight between Code and Broncoand fans might get to see a true glimpse of how powerful Konoha’s scientific ninja technology has really gotten. It must be noted, however, that Delta was indeed weaker than Code, meaning that unless Bronco has been significantly improved upon, she doesn’t stand much of a chance against Code.

It is highly likely that Code will come out on top in the next chapter of the story and finally get his wish granted. If he successfully deals with Bronco without too much trouble, there is nothing stopping him from forcing Amado to get his limiters off. In doing so, he would gain access to the immense raw power that he craved in order to fulfill Isshiki’s wish and then destroy Naruto Uzumaki and all those who played a significantpart in Isshiki Otsutsuki’s death.Code is ultimately being set up as the next big villain after all and for him, getting his limiters off is of utmost importance.
Boruto Chapter 69: Amado And Ada’s Connection
As soon as Code was pushed on the back foot in the last chapter following the arrival of Bronco, he used his trump card against Konoha – Ada. By bringing her along, he is sure to have shifted the tide in his favor once again. More surprisingly, Amado seemed quite shocked at seeing Ada there, suggesting that there might be a lot of history between the two. In the past, Amado has mentioned having a daughter and fans haven’t seen her yet. It is entirely possible that the daughter that he was talking about was none other than Ada.
If that’s the case, fans could get to explore Amado and Ada’s relationship quite a lot. It’s not too much of a stretch to say that getting a short flashback on the two could well happen. Ada isn’t particularly fond of Amado, which seems to imply that the relationship the two share is indeed fractured. Why and how this happened isn’t known to the fans just yet, butBorutoChapter 69 could very well dive into itand explore it a bit more.

Either way, it seems Ada will play a part in swaying Amado’s mind and could end up being the key for him to removing Code’s limiters. In fact, it is also possible for Amado to betray Konohagakure entirely upon meeting with Ada, something that he didn’t take into consideration when coming up with his conniving schemes.
While Shikamaru is also likely going to contribute to the plot in one way or the other inBorutoChapter 69, not much can be expected of him as he is out of his league, surrounded by fighters who are way beyond his level. Along with Ada, fans could also see Daemon make a move and once again, further corner the scientist of Kara and the advisor of the Seventh Hokage. Perhaps the only hope that Konohagakure has at this point is to send Naruto Uzumaki out to deal with this once again. Givenhow weak Naruto is currently, it doesn’t bode well for Konohagakure at all. Despite everything, fans will have to wait and see how the events of the nextBorutochapter unfold.
