This past summer, the first-person horror gameBlair Witchreleased as an Xbox One console exclusive. At the time, it was unclear if Bloober Team’s latest would be coming to other platforms, but the studio has now confirmed theBlair WitchPS4 release date, alongside some new content that’s coming to the game.
First and foremost, theBlair WitchPS4 release date is on December 3, and it’s then when fans can expect to get their hands on the Good Boy DLC Pack. As its name suggests, the Good Boy DLC forBlair Witchis all about the game’sdog character Bullet. The pack will essentially allow players to customize Bullet more than they can in the base game, though it doesn’t appear to add any new story content. TheBlair WitchGood Boy DLC will also be available to PC and Xbox One players.

In ourBlair Witchreview, we praised the game as being genuinely scary and for being one of the best entries in theBlair Witchfranchise since the original film. The game does have some quirks to it that may frustrate players, like purposefully making them get lost in the woods, but it’s still a scary horror game and arguably one of the best titles from Bloober Team to date.
WithBlair Witchcoming to PS4, the game should be able to reach an even wider audience than before, which will hopefully translate into more sales. If so, it could pave the way for Bloober Team to make aBlair Witchsequel for its next game that addresses some of the complaints aimed at the original, though Bloober Team’s next project has yet to be revealed at the time of this writing. If it’s anything like the studio’s previous games, though, one can count on it being afirst-person horror gameof some sort.
As for where aBlair Witchgame sequel could go, there’s really a lot of possibilities. There aremultipleBlair Witchendings, and depending on which one is “canon,” maybe we could even see the return of some of the characters from this game. Alternatively, aBlair Witchgame sequel could follow entirely different characters instead. Fans will just have to stay tuned to learn more about the next game from Bloober Team.
