Reddit user retrosaurus-movies has shared a most unsettling picture online, in which Andreja,a popular companion inStarfield, has literally lost her head. According to the Redditor, the strange glitch occurred after equipping Andreja with a chameleon pack which is supposed to decrease the user’s risk of being noticed while stealthing. TheStarfieldplayer also complained that no matter what they did, the visual defect still persisted and could not be fixed.
TheStarfieldpost has garnered lots of attention from the gaming community. Some helpful Reddit users tried to suggest several fixes for the bug such as saving and reloading the game or telling Andreja to wait in a place, then fast-traveling somewhere before quickly returning to the companion. Other gamers seem to think that the reason this model malfunction can happen is becauseAndreja already comes equipped with Rank 4 Stealth.
WhileStarfieldhas received some stellar reviews from critics, the game undoubtedly suffers from a few drawbacks. One notable issue that is easy to notice is the presence of occasional technical mishaps that can range from minor inconveniences to more significant gameplay disruptions. The Creation Engine 2 game engine, which Bethesda utilized to createStarfield, is considered by many to be a major reason for the game’s technological problems. This engine is hailed as an improvement over Bethesda’s first Creation Engine, which was the framework around which its earlier games such asSkyrimandFallout 4were built. However, it hasn’t entirely mitigated the occurrence of technical flaws. That being said,Starfieldis still receiving regular updates that will hopefully severely diminish such issues in the future.
Starfieldis currently available on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
