While providing information on the company’s earnings from the previous year, and updating fans on the sales figures of the Nintendo Switch andpopular titles likePokemon Legends: Arceus, the report also granted somewhat of a roadmap for the platform owner’s near future. This resulted in the report showing thatBayonetta 3is still slated for a 2022 release date.

While Platinum and Nintendo seem committed to releasingBayonetta 3this year, neither company has stated when fans will get another look at the game. Some are speculating that this next glimpse could be at Nintendo’s next Direct presentation. Recently, the platform owner announced a new Indie Showcase coming this week, which has led some to believe that a Nintendo Direct could be just around the corner. However, there has been no official confirmation of that as yet.

Alongside confirming that Nintendo is still looking for a 2022 release date forBayonetta 3, the financial report also seemed to hint that theAdvance Warsremake was still in the works.Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Campwas faced with a lengthy delay back in March due to global events. However, even with the game facing a significant delay, one fan managed to get an early build of theAdvance Warsreboots working on their Switch.
