Summary
ABaldur’s Gate 3player online has turned their in-game party into the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. With the help of aBaldur’s Gate 3mod, they have been able to customize their party to resemble the heroes in a half-shell.
Baldur’s Gate 3has already cultivated an impressive modding community. Despite the fact that the game’s official modding tools are yet to be released, Larian’s RPG already has a dedicated group of gamers creating new content that will keep players coming back for years to come. Some of this content is brand-new, giving players something totally fresh to experience, while other mods are focused on bringing back cut content that never made it into the game. There’s even oneBaldur’s Gate 3mod that restores a powerful weapon that was originally cut from the game. When the mod tools are eventually released, the quality of the content will shoot up dramatically, and it’ll be exciting to see how much potential it has.

Redditor IllayKonon shared their customBaldur’s Gate 3party, which features four custom green dragonborn, each clad in their own color-coded gear corresponding to the classicTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlescharacters. According to IllayKonon, they were able to use theBaldur’s Gate 3Script Extender mod to give each turtle the right outfit from the start. The outfits aren’t exactly the same as theirTMNTcounterparts, but they’re visually distinguishable enough to be able to tell who’s who, and it gives each turtle their ownBaldur’s Gate 3twist, making it more lore-friendly on the whole.

The similarities don’t end there, however. IllayKonon has attempted to give each turtle the correctBaldur’s Gate 3classto line up with theirTMNTequivalent, which will allow this party build to actually function well throughout an entire playthrough. For example, Leonardo is a Shadow Monk, while Raphael is a Wildheart Barbarian / Fighter. Even their weapons look similar to what they have inTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with Michelangelo dual-wielding flails in place of his trademark nunchucks, and Donatello using a magic staff in place of a pole.
It will likely be a while before any newBaldur’s Gatetitles are released. With Larian moving on from the franchise, it will be down to Wizards of the Coast to choose a new developer to take the series forward, and whoever it is will have some tough shoes to fill. Luckily, it seems as though some familiar faces would be down to return.Astarion actor Neil Newbon recently revealed he wants to return toBaldur’s Gatein the future, and while it remains to be seen if the character is ever used again, it’s good to know that it would be with Newbon involved if it did come to fruition.
