How to Find a Terminal
The best way to find a Terminal is towhip out the Scannerand have a look around. Terminals are usually up high somewhere such as in a tower or on a roof. In the Scanner view, every significant piece of equipment around will have a red and blue line connecting it to the Terminal. Simply follow the lines to find the nearest Terminal.
If there isn’t one nearby though, look on the map for a tall, blue tower that resembles a windmill. It’ll be glowing with a green aura. That’s the symbol for the main terminal for that area. Each control area on the map has one main terminal and one HAWK. There are sometimes additional terminals that oversee smaller areas within the larger control area, but they aren’t marked on the map. Interestingly, there are also no symbols on the map forplaces to save and upgrade.

How Terminals Work
After the player has found a terminal, they can tap the Interact button (RB/R1 or F by default) to open a map that shows everything that terminal is connected to. Most importantly, the map shows all the cameras in the area. It shows the number of cameras connected to the network at the bottom left. When a camera’s symbol is yellow, that means it’s active. If it’s red, it’s disabled.
The player can use the Terminal to take control of cameras. This is the only way to open doors to Testing Grounds and HAWK control huts. When the player looks through the camera’s view, if they spot a door that can be opened by the camera, a prompt appears to press the Interact button. Voila! The door is open. This works across great distances and even through some walls.
