In the post, the team dropped a short video featuring what players can expect from the collaboration. It includes an armor set that Eivor can equip based onMonster Hunter World’s Odogaronequipment, a mount skin that makes it look like Eivor is riding through England on an actual Odogaron, and a cosmetic skin that turns Eivor’s scout into a miniature replica of the ice monster Legiana.

The collaboration event video also showed off severalMonster Hunter World-themed weapons that Eivor can wield and use in the game. Named the Garon Hatchet and Garon Rod, these are based after acual weapons inMonster Hunter World, though the designs have been tweaked to fit theAssassin’s Creed Valhallauniverse. Many fans of both video games expressed their approval of the crossover online. However, there were those who also wondered why it took so long for both companies to finally work together, especially sinceMonster Hunter Worldhas already had collaborations with theAssassin’s Creedseries in the past.

Despite how long it took for Ubisoft to finally implement the partnership withMonster Hunter World, fans of both games now have more incentive to keep playingAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. With the development team’s support and content drawing to a close withAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’s The Last Chapter, the community should likely expect that the focus will now be on the next title in the series. Hopefully these minor content updates will keep players entertained until the nextAssassin’s Creedtitle is released in the future.

Assassin’s Creed Valhallais available now on Amazon Luna, PC, Stadia, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
