TheNintendo Switch versionofMiitopia, a lite RPG with Miis as the main characters, is not necessarily a difficult game. It has quirky elements not seen in other similar RPGs, though, and sets itself apart for its art style and casual gameplay – it’s not a game that forces its players to worry about min-maxing, after all.

Whenever you pick up a new party member inMiitopiayou will be given a set ofcustomization options including appearance, personality, and job. The class system inMiitopiais very similar to most classic RPG archetypes, with a few unique roles to the game.
One of the most important things when putting together a party is to have a variety of personalities. Not only will the dialogue get repetitive, but some personalities actually help the party member do their job, like the Kind trait.
9…And Give Each Mii A Unique Role
In addition to balancing the personalities of your party, it’s essential that each party member serve a unique role. Not only should they all be different classes, but each should be focused on an aspect of combat – taking damage, dealing damage, healing, or other support.
There aremore than a dozen job optionsfor party members, some of which are unlocked along the way. Fret not, though, because there are multiple opportunities to re-customize your Miis.
8Replaying Levels Still Grants Rewards
Lacking the skill level to progress in a game can feel like reaching an impasse. If someone has managed to get throughMiitopiabut finds themselves at a difficult part, they can simply go back to old levels and replay them for additional rewards.
Taking different paths in replayed levels is key to maximizing the experience gain, as more enemies spawn. Additionally, there are often other hidden items that only exist on the new path.
7Focusing Too Much On Relationships…
The relationship aspect ofMiitopiais not only funny and engaging, but it’s also vital to acquire special skills for your party members. There are a lot of ways to build friendships between characters, like rooming them together, healing one another, or being protected in some way by the other.

Worrying about the relationship aspect too much is a waste of time, as relationships inMiitopiaare incredibly easy to build passively. Unless a player is speedrunning the campaign, it’s best to treatMiitopiaas a casual game.

On the flip side, some players can be turned off by relationship-building mechanics in games. Some people just want to fight and do other exciting things, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
Relationships between characters can give a big boost to the party in the form of assist skills, which activate during encounters.Putting absolutely no effortinto building relationships between characters will result in a disjointed party that doesn’t support one another as effectively as they could.
5Feeding Miis After Quests Is Crucial
After every quest, players are able to feed their party members and give them special upgrades based on two things: the food itself and the Mii’s reaction to the food. There are four possible reactions a Mii can have, each with its own effect on the stat bonus granted by the food.
The player can’t continuously feed Miis, though, as there is a Full mechanic that prevents players from stocking up on stat upgrades. Pay attention to their hunger, though, as Miis will perform much better when they’re sated.
4G Is Found Everywhere, Not Just On Enemies
When the party defeats a band of enemies inMiitopia, they will receive XP, rewards, and G, the game’s currency. If fighting enemies constantly doesn’t sound like much fun, players can also find G hidden in treasure chests and item containers throughout the game.

The combat inMiitopiacan get a little bit tiresome for some, and to make it worse, it’s also one of the least efficient ways to make money in terms of time invested.
3The Fastest Way To Make G Is By Gambling
InMiitopia, there are a variety of minigames that the party can partake in to make money (and sometimes other rewards). The fastest way to make G in the game is by playing Rock Paper Scissors, a minigame that costs a game ticket.
The player can bet G and will receive double the money back if they win at a round of Rock Paper Scissors. Players can also lose their G, but there are ways toguarantee a win in thisMiitopiaminigame.
2The Way A Mii Looks Doesn’t Change Their Strength
It might seem obvious to most, but for some, it might not be quite so. Even though a Mii looks ripped and intimidating, they won’t be any more powerful in-game.
The only things that determine how well a Mii performs in combat are its class, personality, and stats. None of that is determined by how a Mii looks, so feel free togo completely nuts in the Mii customizer.
1Never Changing Jobs Makes The Game Stale
The main mistake most players make inMiitopiais getting too comfortable with the way things are. To prevent this, there are several points throughout the game that will force the player to change their party members' jobs.
